. . . And as the interlude ends, the music becomes the music on a jukebox. Ugly fluorescent lights up on a cafeteria seating area. Dina and Tewfiq enter, holding trays of food, like high school students looking for a place to sit. Dina leads Tewfiq over to a table and they sit. Tewfiq looks around, awkwardly, at some staring people.

DINA: Everything’s okay?

TEWFIQ: Yes, it’s just . . . People are staring.

DINA: Leave it. People here are in the Stone Age. You know? Just . . . (Beat) Tell me something in Arabic.

TEWFIQ: Ehhh . . . (Struggles for words)

DINA: I don’t know, just something. To hear the music.
